Mounting Styles
Roof Mounting

Roof installations are easy and an affordable approach for solar implementation. In most cases these panels will be attached directly to the building structures to protect from extreme weather conditions.
Solar panels are installed both on flat as well as traditional angled roofs. The light weight of solar systems (~ 4 ½ lbs / 2ft) add very little to the actual roof load.
Ground Mounting

This type of mounting is used on properties that have limited roof space or in addition to roof installations (if more electricity production is required). The panels installed on the property are supported by steel structures that are anchored in concrete footings.
Pole Mounting
This type of solar panel is installed on a steel pole and has the same efficiency of a roof or ground mounting. This type of installation has an advantage of being manually adjustable. |
